How do I receive a quote for a custom decorated cookie order ?

Click on Contact in the menu bar above to send me a message or send me an email directly to info@mbo.llc. Please include as many details as you can - specific theme/designs, approximate quantity, date for pickup and/or any special needs or requests you may have.

How do I place an order?

When you are ready to place an order, let me know! Confirm any missing details I might have asked for so I can send you an invoice for payment. Payment in FULL is required to book a date on my calendar. You will pay with a CC via a secured link within the invoice. PLEASE review the details of the invoice and let me know if there are any changes that need to be made. Once payment is received, be on the lookout for a follow up email about pickup at the beginning of your pickup week.

How far in advance do I need to place an order?

I always say, the earlier the better. I have been booked out for 3-4 weeks most of this year. During the spring and fall, I participate in local markets - this limits the number of custom orders I take so keep this in mind. You are always more than welcome to contact me and ask if I have any openings, at any time!

How are the cookies packaged?

All of my cookies come individually heat sealed in clear cello bags and packaged in a kraft box with twine. Packaged this way, they will stay fresh for at least 2 weeks. If you have extras and you want to freeze them, let me know! I can give you specific instructions on how to best do this.

How do I pickup my cookies?

Pickup is by appointment only! I am not open to the public. You will receive an email from me at the beginning of the week of your requested pickup date. This will include my shop address with directions, phone number and pickup instructions. You can come right into my shop for pickup or text me and I will bring them out to you.

Do you ship?

Yes - and I ship a LOT! Your cookies will ship USPS 2-3 day Priority shipping (within the contiguous United States) and there are additional packaging and shipping costs involved. I take a lot of care and pride when I package them to ensure they will arrive safely to their destination. MBO cannot, however, be responsible for breakage, lost or late packages caused by the USPS.

What if I need to cancel an order or change the pickup date?

I totally understand that things happen in life. Please let me know ASAP if you need to make changes to an order. There are NO refunds but if you need to cancel an order, I will apply your payment to a future date, as long as a minimum of 10 days notice before pickup is given. If you need to make changes to pickup date, quantities, color palette, designs, etc, 7 days notice before pickup is required.

Do you offer vegan, sugar-free or gluten-free options?

At this time, I do not.

Are you a nut-free kitchen?

My kitchen is not nut-free or soy-free. I typically do not use these products in any of my baking but please be aware of this if you have an extreme nut or soy allergy.

What flavor sugar cookies do you offer?

My sugar cookies are vanilla flavored and decorated with a vanilla royal icing, which is a meringue based icing, with a soft bite. I do occasionally offer seasonal flavors, if time permits.

How do I care for my cookies?

Always store in a cool location out of direct sunlight - do not refrigerate! If you need to freeze any cookies, please contact me for specific instructions.

-Heat sealed sugar cookies will remain fresh for 2 weeks and opened cookies will remain fresh for 2-3 days if kept in a sealed storage container.

-Heat sealed drop cookies will remain fresh for 2-3 days. Warm cookies always taste best so I always recommend removing from their packaging and warming in the microwave for 8-10 seconds.
